The Event Room at Networking Leads

Then it was known as The Event Center. Now, it is The Event Room. Networking Leads has worked long and hard to get to where it is today. Our location has changed along with all the things we do and how we help the professional and Hispanic community. We continue to host networking mixers and rent The Event Room to businesses and professionals alike, who are in need of space for a seminar or mixer of their own. We also provide options like rental of tables, chairs, tables, décor and more.

The Event Room may be part of Networking Leads, but sometimes, it is its own. It is often occupied throughout the month for networking mixers, meetings with NL members, professionals who are looking for a location to work from, and on some days we even have our barista Zeke from Creative Mixology come in and brew us coffee.

Networking Leads in itself has many different creative opportunities for businesses and brands to be known. We offer services like photography, videography, web design, and content writing, just to name a few.

We are proud of how far we have come and we look forward to continue to grow within the Tampa community and help as much as we can to whomever we can along the way.

Networking Leads… to continuous growth within a professional community.

"Beyond the concept of co-working, allowing outsiders to access space in other ways can provide a revenue stream. This has been the experience of Guzman Law Group in Tampa.

Guzman opened a 8,000-square-foot building that includes a 1,000-square-foot event space in October 2008.

The timing ultimately worked to the firm’s advantage, said Jennifer Granell Alonso, law office administrator and event coordinator. Guzman found a niche providing the space for companies trying to downscale and the space “took on a life of its own,” she said.

Now known as The Event Center at Guzman Law Group, the space has its own website and social media presence. Businesses can rent it for seminars, meetings and luncheons and individuals can rent it for personal gatherings. Traveling businesspeople seeking an alternate to a Starbucks or a Panera can stop by and use the Wi-Fi.

Guzman also hosts nonprofit events, in many cases providing the space as an in-kind donation.

The space is in use most days of the week, Alonso said.

“Everything happened at the right time, with the move, with the downturn and with the needs of the community,” Alonso said. “There were a lot of businesses that were struggling, business owners who could not afford to rent a ballroom or a meeting room at a hotel.”
