The Wall Street Journal recently reported that Salesforce.com, Inc. made a $15 Billion Dollar deal to purchase Tableau Software Inc. in order to continuing fighting off rival companies in the software industry that helps companies “better understand their customers”.


Can you imagine spending that kind of money on software just to help you understand your customers?


What ever happened to good ol’ fashion HUMAN interaction?


A word of mouth referral has always been and will always be the best way to grow a business.


Suggestion: Step away from your computer, buy someone a cup of coffee, listen to them closely, learn more about them, and then help them. You may be out $2 bucks on the coffee but at least you will keep the $15 Billion in your pocket to use it to promote social good in the world—heaven knows we need it.
